Beaches & Backyards Catering is located on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Oahu but we serve the entire island chain and even the mainland United States. We love what we do and so will you.
In addition to preparing delicious food for your event, we also offer wedding and event planning, tent and accessory rentals, bar and beverage service, coffee service and more.

Vanessa Hollinger
What got you here? I discovered my love of cooking while running a café in Costa Rica. I then came back to Hawaii to attend Gros Bonnet Culinary Academy and become a chef.
What do you love about your job? Building relationships with my clients and being creative
Favorite thing to do on a day off? Play with my keikis
Guiltiest pleasure? Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!
I really enjoy… Surf! Surf! Surf!
What the crew loves about Vanessa? Her delicious food of course! And she’s a pretty cool boss
Alicia Hollinger
What got you here? My attention to detail, communication skills, creativeness, and 12 years in the hospitality industry led me to become an event planner.
What do you love about your job? At the end of the night when the Bride & Groom are on the dance floor with smiles on their faces. And my pink notebooks!
Favorite thing to do on a day off? I love taking in the beauty of Hawaii. And watching football!
Guiltiest pleasure? Cherry Coke and shopping for office supplies!
I really enjoy… Picking my nieces up from school and hearing about their day. And working with my sis!
What the crew loves about Alicia? Her humor, spunk and obsessive organization keeps us all in line.
Rene Rausch
What got you here? Planning social events in college exposed me to this industry, bringing out my love for planning and organizing events, especially on the catering side.
What do you love about your job? I love seeing everything come together on the day of the event whether it be a wedding or a baby luau. It’s such a rewarding feeling to see it all come to life.
Favorite thing to do on a day off? Bask in the sun at the beach!
Guiltiest pleasure? Chocolate and my bed.
I really enjoy… Laughing and dancing!
